During this time when we are not meeting together for corporate worship we would like to remind you that we are utilizing Tithe.ly for online giving.

There are a few things to note when utilizing this service.

1. There is a cost to use the service, but it is a “by transaction” vs a fixed monthly cost. The cost depends upon the method with which you give.
   • 2.9% + $0.30 for Credit/Debit Card Giving
   • 1.0% + $0.30 for ACH/Bank Drafts

   For a $100 gift, unless you chose to cover the fees, the church would receive $96.80 if you made your donation with a credit/debit card or 98.70 if done via a bank draft/ACH.

   If you chose to “Cover Fees” you would be charged $103.20 or $101.30 to your credit/debit card or bank account respectively. In both cases the church would receive $100.

   In either case the whole amount is tax deductible.

2. The fees collected are used to cover the transaction fees, similar to what every vendor has to pay when accepting credit or debit cards, maintain the secure website for giving and maintaining and improving the service.
3. You can give to multiple funds in one transaction by clicking on the “+” under the recurring giving option. (Note if you give to multiple funds the recurring giving option won’t be available.)

   
   

4. If you would like to give additional information about your gift (retreat deposits, Love Offerings, etc) please use the “Note/Memo” field.
   
5. You can create an account for your convenience which will also give you access to your giving history.
6. On average it takes about 2 days for a gift to be deposited into the church’s bank account
